*THIS LISTING IS FOR A KNITTING PATTERN ONLY - NOT A PHYSICAL ITEM*
This pattern was featured in the May 2019 Sock Crush Box and Yarniverse Magazine!
When I first laid eyes on the Perfect Storm colourway by Essence of Autumn, I was immediately reminded of the blue-green waters of the Spray Lake reservoir in Kananaskis, Alberta. The peaks and valleys of the chevron pattern mimic those of the Rocky Mountains. I wanted this pattern to play homage to the beautiful province I call home. This pattern is written from the cuff down with a unique heel flap and gusset that doesn’t break the lace pattern.
The pattern can be easily adapted into a mid-calf, or shortie sock but adjusting the number of pattern repeats you do. While the pattern calls for one skein of sock yarn, your yardage will vary based on the length or leg and foot you choose to do. A shortie sock will use less yardage than a mid-calf sock.
